This Ranch Chicken Crock Pot Recipe is creamy, flavorful, and effortless. Tender chicken breasts slow-cooked with ranch seasoning, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and optional cheddar cheese make the perfect comfort meal.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional for searing)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- (Optional) Sear chicken breasts in olive oil until golden brown.
- Place chicken in the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix ranch seasoning, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Pour mixture over chicken.
- Cook on LOW for 6โ7 hours or HIGH for 3โ4 hours.
- In the last 15 minutes, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and let melt.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or veggies.
- You can substitute cream of chicken soup with cream of mushroom soup.
- Leftovers keep well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
