A delicious Spicy Salmon Sushi Bake that’s easy to make at home. Creamy, spicy, and packed with flavor, perfect for sushi lovers who want a fun twist on classic sushi.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice uncooked
  • 2.5 cups water
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skinless and diced
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ cup green onions, chopped, plus extra for garnish
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into small strips
  • tobiko, optional for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions using the water, rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Spread rice evenly in a baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix diced salmon with mayonnaise, Sriracha, sesame oil, and chopped green onions.
  4. Spread the salmon mixture evenly over the rice.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with nori strips, extra green onions, and tobiko if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust Sriracha for your preferred spice level.
  • Can be made ahead and refrigerated, then baked before serving.
