Description
Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles are a quick and flavorful weeknight meal. Tender chicken pieces are coated in a sticky, garlicky honey-soy sauce, tossed with noodles, and finished with green onions and sesame seeds for a delicious, restaurant-style dish at home.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- ยผ cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- ยฝ tsp red chili flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and red chili flakes. Add chicken pieces and toss to coat. Let marinate 10โ15 minutes.
- Sprinkle cornstarch over the chicken and toss until coated evenly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, 5โ7 minutes.
- Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Add cooked noodles to the skillet with chicken. Toss to coat with sauce and heat through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- Use hoisin sauce or sriracha for an extra flavor boost.
- Rice noodles or egg noodles both work well for this dish.
- Best served immediately to keep noodles tender and sauce sticky.
