Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 6–8 mozzarella string cheese sticks
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 20–25 pepperoni slices (beef or turkey)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- Optional seasonings: garlic powder, Italian seasoning, or grated Parmesan
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out pizza dough into a large circle on a floured surface.
- Place mozzarella string sticks evenly around the edge of the dough.
- Fold the edge of the dough over the cheese sticks and press to seal, creating a stuffed crust.
- Spread pizza sauce over the center of the dough, avoiding the stuffed crust area.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Top with pepperoni slices.
- Brush the stuffed crust with olive oil or melted butter and sprinkle with optional seasonings.
