Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 bottle Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Lightly coat the bottom of the crockpot with olive oil.
- Place the chicken breasts inside and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and stir into the sauce before serving.
Notes
- Serve on sandwich buns, over rice, or with mashed potatoes.
- For extra smoky flavor, add 1/2 tsp smoked paprika.
