Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ยฝ teaspoon salt
  • ยฝ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or Monterey Jack
  • ยฝ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. Season chicken breasts with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken on both sides until golden, about 3โ€“4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sautรฉ mushrooms and onions until tender and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  5. Place chicken in a baking dish, top with sautรฉed mushrooms and onions.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
