Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet dry ranch seasoning mix (1 oz)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for searing)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish


Instructions

  1. (Optional) Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken breasts until golden brown on each side.
  2. Place chicken in the crock pot.
  3. In a bowl, combine ranch seasoning, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until chicken is fully cooked and tender.
