Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 lb (450g) twisted pasta (Fusilli) or any pasta you prefer
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4-5 cloves minced garlic
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken cubes, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir and bring to a simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir until cheese is melted and sauce thickens slightly.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
