Ingredients
- 2 small chicken breasts
- 1 Italian style loaf
- 2 tablespoons poultry seasoning (or salt, pepper, garlic powder)
- 1 ½ sticks unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic (or garlic paste)
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with poultry seasoning and sear in olive oil over medium heat until cooked through. Slice and set aside.
- Cut the Italian loaf in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet.
- Melt butter with minced garlic and parsley, then brush generously over the cut sides of the bread.
- Pour heavy cream into a small saucepan and heat gently, then stir in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth to make the alfredo sauce.
- Top the garlic bread with sliced chicken, mozzarella cheese, and drizzle with the prepared alfredo sauce.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes and additional parsley, if desired. Serve hot.
