Description
These Witches Brooms are a fun and spooky treat for Halloween! Made with flaky puff pastry, Nutella, and pretzels, they’re perfect for kids and adults alike as a festive snack or party dessert.
Ingredients
- 17.3 ounces puff pastry, defrosted
- ¼ cup Nutella, more or less as needed
- 12 pretzel sticks
- 2 tablespoons milk for brushing
- 2 tablespoons sugar in the raw
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unfold puff pastry and cut into 12 strips, about 1 inch wide.
- Spread Nutella along the length of each strip, then insert a pretzel stick at one end to act as the broom handle.
- Cut the opposite end of each strip into thin slits to resemble broom bristles.
- Twist the slitted ends slightly, brush with milk, and sprinkle with raw sugar.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until puff pastry is golden and crisp.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve your spooky Witches Brooms!

- You can substitute Nutella with peanut butter or chocolate spread if preferred.
