Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread (sourdough or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 4 ounces creamy Brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional: fresh basil leaves for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. On the unbuttered side, layer Brie cheese, blueberries, a drizzle of honey, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt.
