Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread (sourdough or your choice)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 4 ounces creamy Brie cheese, sliced
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
- A pinch of salt
- Optional: fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, layer Brie cheese, blueberries, a drizzle of honey, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt.
- Top with another slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Cook in the skillet for 3โ4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, slice, and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
