Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 refrigerated pie crust
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup biscuit baking mix
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- Optional: diced pickles, tomatoes, or extra cheese for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC). Lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish or oven-safe skillet.
- Cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain excess grease.
- Season with garlic powder, salt, black pepper, ketchup, and mustard. Stir well.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly into the prepared dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and biscuit baking mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter evenly over the beef and cheese.
- Bake for 25โ30 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
